International Sales Trainee

For our 1-year program in Drachten we are seeking an

International Sales Trainee

As an International Sales Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced sales team to learn about our products, services, and sales processes. This program will provide you with a unique opportunity to develop your sales skills and gain valuable experience in an international business environment.

What does your day look like?

You will work side-by-side with our experienced sales team learning about our products, services and sales processes. Together you will identify and pursue new business opportunities. Next to this you will:

• Assist in developing and delivering sales presentations and proposals
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and market trends
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any inquiries or concerns they may have
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential clients
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager

We expect you to:

• Have a strong interest in sales or commerce
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have a strong attention for detail
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

You:

• Are enthusiastic and eager to learn;
• Are fluent in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business or Commercial Economy, or anything related to these fields
• Having previous sales experience is a plus, but not required.

Where you will work

Kooi is the specialist in the field of temporary mobile camera security and heat detection. That way the world can continue to build a better future. We ensure that everyone can sleep well.

With our Unit For Observation (UFO), we secure locations such as construction sites and wind farms. The RED (Rising Early Detection) continuously measures temperatures at waste sites. This way we prevent over-heating and fire. We not only prevent theft, vandalism and fire, but also financial damage. The PAC-certified Kooi Alarm Center manages all alarms. We design, assemble and maintain all systems in Drachten. In addition, we have offices in Germany, Austria, France, Denmark, Spain and the United Kingdom.
